A bilateral platform enabling exporters and importers from both the United Arab Emirates and Korea to connect through structured G2B and B2B engagements and unlock real trade opportunities under the CEPA framework. CEPA provides a framework for “Preferential tariff access”, “Streamlined customs procedures”, and “Enhanced market entry conditions”.
The UAE-Korea Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) officially entered into force on May 1, 2026, marking a milestone as South Korea’s very first free trade pact with an Arab nation. Activating ahead of its original timeline, the agreement builds on a baseline of $6.9 billion in annual bilateral non-oil trade and a massive pool of $10 billion in mutual investments. The pact functions as a high-technology and capital corridor connecting East Asian industrial tech with the Gulf’s core logistics network.
