The Chile-United Arab Emirates Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) officially entered into international force on November 24, 2025. Serving as Chile’s first-ever free trade agreement with a Middle Eastern nation and the UAE’s primary anchor into South America, the operational framework is on a clear trajectory to more than double bilateral trade past $500 million within five years, with long-term projections targeting $750 million by 2030.
