The UAE-Azerbaijan Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) officially entered into force on April 15, 2026, establishing a crucial trade and investment bridge between the Gulf and the Eurasian “Middle Corridor”. Building on a non-oil bilateral trade volume that reached $2.4 billion, this landmark pact represents Azerbaijan’s first-ever free trade agreement. It is projected to inject $680 million into the UAE’s GDP and $300 million into Azerbaijan’s economy by 2031.
