UAE–Indonesia
CEPA Trade Facilitation
& Market Access Mission

Explore. Meet. Match and Execute the Trade & Investments under CEPA Framework

A bilateral platform enabling exporters and importers from both the United Arab Emirates and Indonesia to connect through structured B2B engagements and unlock real trade opportunities under the CEPA framework. CEPA provides a framework for “Preferential tariff access”, “Streamlined customs procedures”, and “Enhanced market entry conditions”.

The Indonesia-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement      (I-UAE CEPA), which officially entered into force on September 1, 2023, has rapidly accelerated bilateral trade. This milestone pact has expanded bilateral trade to $6.4 billion, positioning both nations to meet their collaborative target of $10 billion in annual trade. As Indonesia’s first comprehensive trade agreement with a Middle Eastern nation, the framework has effectively connected Southeast Asia’s largest economy with the Gulf’s premier logistics hub.

This mission is designed to ensure that businesses from both countries can effectively utilize these advantages, transforming policy-level agreements into tangible commercial outcomes.
